Am  actually really happy that it’s close to the end of the year because am going going on vacation to Las Vegas and California and Wisconsin am flying to Vargas it my first time that’s a reason why am ready to go on summer vacation. And another thing is that I don’t have to wake up so early. Am going to miss the teachers though like Ms.Haury ELA is my favorite class. Am not going to miss math am going to miss the math teachers though but not math. My goals for 7th grade is not to get any detention(s)I have not got any  detention(s) in 6th grade yet. Another goal is to do all my work is 7th grade like homework.

I really don’t have a favorite song but if I had to pick a song it would be Pompeii because I like the lyrics it reminds me of the city Pompeii it’s about that city too. I learned about the city in socail studies I learned that the city was destroyed by a volcano the people that lived there did not survive they did not know what was going on. In a lyric is shows the words that the building are falling down. my positives for the week is to do good on the MAP test we have to do tomorrow. I want to do good on the test. Another positive for the week is to finish at least one lesson of Noredink so I won’t be that far behind. One last positive for the week is finish all homework for all classes.

MAP testing is boring the only thing I like about it is the class periods a shorter. The only class I like that is long is ELA because the teacher is fun and also funny. MAP testing Takes forever and does not tell us how many questions there is going to be on the test. We have MAP testing for I think 1 or 2 weeks. Then there is only 3 more weeks of school so that is also a reason I know when school is out because of MAP testing.

I really did not think about writing 50 blog post in the beginning of the school year now that I think about it it feels good completeing 50 blog post. I completed more than 50 blog post already because I was doing writing a blog every single day in March I missed either  8 or 10 days. I noticed that when I seen how many blog post I did. So far I completed 71 post so that feels good writing 71 post out of the whole school year well we are not done with the school year so almost maybe by the end of school I will finish 75 blog post.

In social studies we had Greek Day it was fun in the beginning we sat down in teams that we were put in and sold stuff that we made, so we did that for a couple of mins then we went to the olmpics be has racing chariot race etc I did the chariot race that was fun. After we cleaned up and went to go back to class and ate Greek food I ate bread chips the other foods I did not like when we were eating. Are teacher put on a movie we only had about 25 mins to watch the movie so we watched that movie  for the rest of class and then we went to go eat lunch.

The poem that I picked was from a book that is called loose Threads. The poem is called MASH there are lots of them that fit in one whole book so it’s like a whole much of poems in one. It is about how a family is watching the tv show called MASH and then all of a sudden the grandma calls out “I have a lump in breast”.

My favorite poem is “you can’t just beat a team you have to leave a lasting impression on their minds so they never want to see you again” I like this poem because I like I like sports and that why I like the poem.

For my Chicago history project am researching about H.H. Holmes. H.H. Holmes was Americans first serial killer. He was married 3 times and had 2 kids he killed his first wife and his daughter. When H.H Homes killed woman he would sell their skeleton weeks later. It’s weird how he sold their skeletons but when he was a kid he was afraid of the doctors and they made him face the skeleton. Later on when he was older he went to a university for being a doctor. H.H Holmes killed 20-200 people in his “Murder Castle”. The reason why I picked H.H. holmes was because he sounded interesting to research nad also because I never heard of H.H. Holmes I never really though t about any serial killers untill now I think this is a very cool project to do.

My 4th quarter goals are to get good grades not to get detention. One goal I have in ELA  is to Don’t get behind on Noredink. One goal I have in Math is   don’t forget to do math homework and do it during excel. Another  goal for my 4th quarter goal is to do good in math and do very well in my unit test and quizzes and regular test too. Another goal I have in socail studies is to also Get good grades even though I think my grades are already good in socail studies. My goal in science is to answer questions more. For block 4 on A Days and B Days is to do good and get good grades in both classes. For another I have for myself is not to get 4 falcon fouls I think at least 2  fouls will be that bad.

During spring break I got a new phone I also went to my grandpas for Easter and spent the night till Tuesday then on the day of Tuesday my moms boyfriend took us to A  restaurant we ate. Wednesday-Friday we stayed home. On the week end we went to Urban air and we also went to Dave and Busters  on the same day that is what we did on Saturday. On Sunday we went out to eat ones again that is what I did over spring break.

On Wednesday we watched a movie a movie in science we watched The Secret Life Of Pets. That movie is old it was made in 2016 but I think it’s a good movie I guess. We were watching it and I started to get hungry so I packed a fruit snack in my binder I took it out and tried to open it. I opened it ad it was so loud when I was done I ask to get a drink of water so that I could throw it away. After the movie we left and went to lunch.

On Tuesday we had to present are project about no smoking and I did not want to do it because I just not want to present infront of the whole class. I ask if we have to prevent in front of the whole class and she said “yes”. I thought I don’t sweat to. So when am going to go up and present am going to did it fast and get it over with.

In social justice we had a project to do when we were doing it we were having fun. Savion a boy I was working with we kept fighting over who was going to write the word on the poster board And then Valerie another person am wo king with said we could both write the words down. I would have won but he had the marker that we were suppose to write with first so that it goes along with the art work that he did. After we were done writing down the letters I sat down ad started working on the google slide. Theta is what happen in socail justice.

Yesterday we had a sub in socail studies class so she said when we finish are work sheet we could have free time. I thought that was cool because we hardly ever have free time in social studies. When I was done with the work sheet I listened to music and did my homework because I did not want to do it at home. When I got tired of doing of homework I put it away I only had 10 questions left so that was going to be easy. Then I just played games on my iPad untill block two was over.

Yesterday I was working on my poster for Health class the poster was about how to stop smoking and why it’s dangerous. When I was working on it I was Looking at it and I noticed that a word was a little slated and I did it with marker so it sucked. I was trying to fix it with white out. And I made it look better.

On the weekend I went to my grandpa and stayed till Sunday are uncle was dropping us off at our house. All of a sudden we were going to the movies but before that we went to go pick up his daughter so it took him about a hour to go to the movies. We went there and then we were early to the iMovies so we went to eat after we stayed in the car and we went inside. When we said the movie our uncle forgot his wallet so we waited. We went inside ordered and went to watch the movie.

On Friday  Ms.Huary was pulling out names for the slice of life challenge and my name got pulled! I got candy and a bookmark the bookmark I will only pick that one because there was stickers I did not want a sticker so I got a bookmark.

two days ago was the last day of PARCC I was glad that PARCC was over because it took forever to take even though there was 11-14 questions. Yesterday was are first day of a normal schedule. Then next week that is Are final week of 3rd quarter so am excited because I get to have gym again. And I also get to have another block 4 other then gym.

Yesterday we all got new iPad bags they are small they could only hold the iPad and the iPad charger and maybe a paper or two. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the iPad case is big so when you put you iPad inside the bag it’s hard. And when you also  take  the iPad out of the bag it’s hard. Other then the case I like the iPad bag it’s cool.

Yesterday in ELA we watched a movie it was called  Free Willy I liked the movie we did not watch the whole thing though because we had shorten classes because of PARCC. We were watching it and it was a good movie when I was time to leave I had Social Studies we got to watch are trailers. When he came in the classroom he said “I have some good news and the bad news the bad news is there is no more popcorn the other classes are to much popcorn the good news is that this week or next week of class I will bring popcorn and you guys will have it all to your selfs. We watch the trailers then we were done with Socail Studies so now I was in Health.

Today after lunch I needed to go to the library so I told my friend Sarah to go with me because I did not want to go by myself because 7th and 8th graders had lunch next and I know that it was going to be crowded so I went to my locker and I could not open my lock after awhile I got my two books one was due today and one was due last week so I had to renew one book and return the other. When we went up the stairs I seen not a lot then we turned and there was so many people . We were walking and went to the library I checked out another book then returned renewed and then we left. We went back to class and now we are about to watch a movie.

Today we had no school because of Election Day. Yesterday (Monday) we had school which was weird because usually when we don’t have school Monday or Tuesday we don’t have school the the day before or the day after so that was weird.

Today in science class we did a center thing we seen a ice cube float or sink. The blue ice cube sank an the red hot water floated. It was cool but the thing that was cool was the can it was called air pressure can it was really cool I really don’t know how to explain it. That was what happen in science today.

On Friday I was in math and my teachers said that we were going to watch a video I got excited because I did not want to do math that day. When she put it on it was about math it was about 1 hour long then they gave us a paper to take notes. They also said that we are going to be watching it for 4 episodes of it. 

On March 15,2018 we were doing are PARCC test and then someone who was sitting next to me farted. He yelled  “out were is the fabreeze I just farted” it was nasty I moved. Then he started spraying the fabreeze he sprayed way to much when I was breathing all I could small was the fabreeze but it did smell good.

On March 14,2018 there was a assembly and you could have chosen to go to study hall or the assembly. I went to study hall it was in the lunch room when I went there it was very quiet I took a seat next to Miranda and Emily. We sat and did homework and talk then about 10 mins later it got loud. We stayed there for about an hour it was boring. When there was 30 mins left I seen Sarah she wanted me to sit next to her but I couldn’t. When it was time to leave we went to are locker and went to excel and stayed there for 7 mins.

Yesterday in excel I was done with PARCC and I looked at the clock and it said 9:49 and I thought only 6 more minutes till we go to lunch and I was getting ready but when there was only 1 minute left I heard no one in the hallway so I checked the schedule and it said 10:55.

Today in math testing I was reading a passage and I thought that I was only suppose to read it and I went on to the next question after I was done writing. I checked back to look it I done all my questions there was one I did not finshed I looked at it an do it just showed a passage I look at it and there’s was no question. I just started to look if there was a question on the bottom and there was. I was thinking why didn’t they just put the question on the side there was lots of room.

On the same day we went to down town Chicago we were leaving and we were about to get dinner then we were talking about getting Chinese food. Then we started talking about China Town after talking about it we were heading to China Town. When we got there we parked and we went walking around we seen this ice cream and we wanted it. My mom said “ we will get it when we are on the way to the car” so then we were looking for a restaurant. We did not want to eat there when we were getting ready to leave we stop at the ic cream place it was full the line was so long  then we seen another ice  cream place we went side there was no big line. I was choosing my ice cream and I went to tell the person we stood in line and we seen them make it. When they were finally done we started eating it it was so good. This is how my ice cream looked the rolled up ice cream is called Panda Panda

On the weekend I went to down town Chicago we were going to stores. And  then we went to this one store because me my sister and my brother wanted some new clothes  and because it was freezing outside we went inside and went up the steps there was three floors. Of course the girl clothes were up stair I started to get som clothes. I went to go get a bag because I did not want to hold any clothes when I was putting it in the bag the bag was filled up. I was looking at this outfit and it look cool so I got it. That was my trip to down town Chicago.

In  math there was this goal we had of you finished 40 lessons of Zearn, IXL,Khan Academy in like two weeks. You would get some kind of treat and some kids did and they got cookies i wanted some cookies to but noe we have more time. To practice so I am close to 40 so some time next week I will get some type treat.

I was getting out of science class and I was putting my stuff from science class away.  it was very loud in the hallway. And I was closing my locker and I seen my friend it look like she was crying. When I was asking if she was crying and she was crying. And I ask her what has happen and she said “ I don’t want to talk about it” and we went to lunch and everybody at our table ask “what happen” and she said once again “I don’t want to talk about it” after lunch we left to we third  block witch I am still in right now. I am still wondering what happen to her.

One of  My favorite quote is “ Do not judge my story by the chapter you walked in on”. I like this quote because I think it is kinda saying don’t just look at a person and judge them. Get to the the person.

The Great Chicago fire happen on October 8, 1871 and lasted till October 10, 1871. On the day the fire started it was windy and since the whole city was made out of wood that made the fire go wild even more.  There were so many building that burned there was about 17,500 building that burned down. The building that did survive the Great Chicago fire was st.  Michael's Church, Chicago Water Tower,  St. Ignatius College, and the Holly Family Church. As many as 300 people died from  the Great Chicago fire and left over 100,000 people homeless. People that survived the fire had to jump into Lake Michigan. When i was waking up this morning i did not want to wake up so when i was getting up i got dressed i was looking for a $1 because I could dress down only if I bring a $1 so when i was done doing i put it on the table. After that i went looking for my clothes it took me forever. So when i was about to leave i went to go to the table were i left the $1  and it was not there so it asked my brother and sister were the dollar was and they said i don’t know. So i was looking so i looked at the floor and there it was. So i think the wind from the fan blew it.

On June 30, 2017 me my mom, brother,sister,step sister,my step dad drove to Las Veagas and also California it was a very fun but there was lots of stuff in the car so it was smushing in side the truck when we were driving the first thing we had to do was go to the store to get some food we got som sandwiches and some chips pretty much whatever we wanted. When we were done we started to drive to Las Vegas for dinner we had Wendy’s. After we were driving and we went to Utah we went later tagging and we also went boiling that was very fun. When we got to Las Vegas it was fun we went walking to go to M&M world there was a fight and it was weird because the cops were right there on the street but there was a wall blocking were we were walking. So the cops could not see them fighting. After that was over we kept walking to M&M world.

My claim is that teachers get under paid. Teachers work more than 6 hours a day and the teachers get paid about $75 a day witch is $525 a week is not as much. In a mouth teacher earn about $1,575-$2,100 witch it is a lot but That  much to pay bills and go grocery shopping. That is not so much money for teaching for more than 6 hours.

I say we should not wear uniforms because uniforms are very uncomfortable and it also ruins your sense of style. Another reason why we should not wear uniforms is because uniforms are also very ugly. Some good reasons why uniforms might be good is people might wear something not appropriate for school or when you are getting dressed you take forever to pick out a outfit.

On  February Friday the 9th, 2018 it was snowing really bad it snowed 1 to 2 inches. It was cool put the only time I went outside was when I was at my grandpa house I had to. It was really fun the snow was so deep. Then on Saturday the 10th,2018 in the night  it snowed the same way so it was higher I went outside and it was not cold at all it was a little warm. So I thought was was okay Sunday it did not snow. That were not he now days. Today is February 14,2018 and the snow is still high!

My opposing view of captivity is animals should not be in captivity because they might die early then they suppose to die and the animals might want to go out and explore where they live. And the baby animals are getting token away from there mothers and family. Those are some reasons am against captivity.

My 3rd quarter goal is to get better in math. And maybe get some better grades in other classes. I really don’t know any other goals.

The movie blackfish was about whales who killed trainers from seaworld. I liked the movie but the movie was sad at the same time because trains would get hurt or killed and the whales would get hurt but not from the trainers. And there were people who talked in the movie there was this one man who said he was crying  when he was getting the whales because they would take the baby’s from there mothers.

I like fiction more then nonfiction because fiction has a lot of adventures In nonfiction books there are real information and I don’t really like that kind of stuff. So my favorite is fiction I always read fiction

Winter break was so fun on Friday the first day of winter break I went to my grandmas house to go get presents and I got a ton of stuff. Then on Saturday I when shoppping and I open my Christmas presents I got a ice cream maker then in Sunday I went to my grandpas and also got presents we stayed there till Thursday. On Sunday   I went to my step grandmas house I got presents I got some board games and other stuff to. I forgot what I did on the other day of winter break.

My New Years resolution is to go to sleep early then I do because I go to sleep at like 2 and I have to wake up at 7 and I get really tired and I wake up late for school. Another new year resolution is to also study a lot for math.
