Yesterday in ELA we watched a movie it was called Free Willy I liked the movie we did not watch the whole thing though because we had shorten classes because of PARCC. We were watching it and it was a good movie when I was time to leave I had Social Studies we got to watch are trailers. When he came in the classroom he said “I have some good news and the bad news the bad news is there is no more popcorn the other classes are to much popcorn the good news is that this week or next week of class I will bring popcorn and you guys will have it all to your selfs. We watch the trailers then we were done with Socail Studies so now I was in Health.
The Great Chicago fire happen on October 8, 1871 and lasted till October 10, 1871. On the day the fire started it was windy and since the whole city was made out of wood that made the fire go wild even more. There were so many building that burned there was about 17,500 building that burned down. The building that did survive the Great Chicago fire was st. Michael's Church, Chicago Water Tower, St. Ignatius College, and the Holly Family Church. As many as 300 people died from the Great Chicago fire and left over 100,000 people homeless. People that survived the fire had to jump into Lake Michigan.
